Floral/ Plant Nursery Sales Associate SUMMARY Will be responsible for driving sale by directing customers to live product in retail stores' garden centers.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Must interact with customers at store level to help drive sales • Customer service • Record inventory • Must be available to work weekends and holidays • Responsible for plant displays; replenishes inventory as needed • Responsible for watering plants • Participate in promotional events • Communicate company business via personal cell phone • Must follow procedures and policies established by the company and required of the job • Must follow safety standards of the job as directed • Maintain business relationship with store personnel • Responsible for signage for retail pricing on all product lines  NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Plant knowledge helpful • Experience in sales preferred • Access to a smart phone • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation  EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or equivalent KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSPlant knowledge is beneficialExcellent communication skillsExcellent customer service skills WORKING CONDITIONS• Repetitive movement • Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs • Physically demanding; must be on your feet for entire work shift • Must work indoors and outdoors in all climates and weather conditions  Must be able to work weekends Start time varies between 630am-930am $16.00/hr Evanston, IL Please send resumes tomelrosepark@ All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
