Job ***** Client is looking to add a CNC Controls Engineer to our team based in Wixom, MI.This person will specialize in CNC control systems and will complete projects for our customer base. ***** Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and CNC related softwareStrong background in Siemens and/or Fanuc Control Systems (or others) with working knowledge of old and new CNC systems.We like well-rounded backgrounds but Siemens Sinumerik 840D experience is highly preferred.Automotive experienceAbility to power up and troubleshoot a wide variety of machine tool control problemsAdvanced level of machine tool control programming ability and knowledgeWorking knowledge of machine tool applicationsStrong working knowledge of analog and digital servo systemsAbility to work closely with electrical technicians and others to develop safe and reliable control systemsExcellent troubleshooting skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills ***** Bachelors, Associates Degree, or technical training in Electrical Engineering or related curriculum
