Job DescriptionAramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join us at our senior living facility in Park Ridge, IL. The ideal candidate would have a passion for providing nutritional services to the elderly.  Benefits:No weekend work required.Set 40 hour workweek with flexible start times.Tuition reimbursement. Payment of CDR fees, membership to a DPG, and state licensure fees.Comprehensive benefit packages including medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents in order to address acute and chronic conditions.Educate residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life.Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver appropriate individualized nutritional therapy including therapeutic diets, oral nutrition supplements and texture-modified diets.Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis and wounds. Participate in resident review meetings to address high-risk residents.Conducts patient nutrition assessment on a population of varying levels of acuity patientsManages the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care ProcessProvides nutrition counseling for individuals, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needsUtilizes assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concernsProvides appropriate follow-ups in accordance with the patient?s treatment goals, referring patients for outpatient counseling, community, or home health services as appropriateWorks cooperatively with medical staff as well as food and nutrition services staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care ordersProvides education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standardsProvides appropriate and timely documentation that summarizes the nutrition care plan in a patient?s medical record, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, plan, implementation, and progress towards goalsDemonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients? protected health informationAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
