We conduct full life cycle support - including air and ground ISR processing and integration and providing a 'tip-to-tail' solution for government agencies.The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a BE350 Lead Pilot.The Lead Pilot will be based in Manassas and support contracted CONUS flight operations, with the possibility of occasional OCONUS deployments.The right candidate must meet our high standards of aviator skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. Additionally, the Lead Pilot will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Act as the primary POC for site interaction with the GFRAct as the primary Contractor's Requesting Official (CRO)Provide all information requested by the Battle Captain/Customer and/or GFR thru the Site Operations Manager (SOM)Conduct and document training and flight evaluations IAW the HR3DGI KA350 Aircrew Training Manual (ATM)Manage and monitor all aircrew Crew Endurance status to ensure DCMA 8210.1C/AR 95-20 complianceSchedule flight crews in support of assigned missionManage and coordinate travel for flight crews as required in support of the contractOperate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, and program/corporate policies and proceduresManage all aircraft movement requests to include coordination of PPRs, diplomatic clearances, Call Sign Requests and ATO complianceAct as the primary on-site representative to the HR3D Program Flight Operations Manager (FOM)Liaison with the Battle Captain/Customer and GFR with input from the Leidos (SOM) on all flight operation mattersCoordinate with the Maintenace Lead to ensure aircraft availability in support of the contractCoordinate with the Chief Sensor Operator to ensure sensor and operator availability in support of the contractLiaison with the Airspace Coordinator to meet customer requirementsComplete any additionally tasking assigned by the Chief Pilot.EducationBA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience. 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.Qualifications3,500 hours total time1000 hours PIC in a King Air 200/300 Series aircraft Must hold a Commercial Airplane Multiengine Instructor Pilot (CFII/MEI) with Instruments Airman CertificateMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be at least 21 years of ageMust possess a current passportMust possess a valid state driver's licenseMust read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust possess a current FAA Class II Medical CertificateMust be able to meet all CRC deployment and medical requirementsMust possess an active DOD security clearance at the SECRET level, or higherHave the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearanceFlown any fixed wing aircraft in the past 90 days.Flown a King Air in the past 12 monthsPreferred QualificationsProline 21 and Garmin G1000 proficientAirline Transport Pilot (ATP)2,500 hours of PIC time300 hours of Instrument (actual) timeRating held for the last three (3) consecutive yearsActive security clearance at Top Secret levelUpset Recovery Training (UPRT) qualifiedGovernment Flight Representative (GFR) Course Graduate/Experience with DCMA 8210.1CForeFlight proficientFormer U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot or US Contracting ISR PilotU.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Maintenance PilotPrior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in current area of operationMicrosoft Office programs proficientAirborneISROriginal Posting Date:2024-04-05While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
