Job Description:With nearly 1,600 locations, primarily in the Northeast, Global is one of the largest independent owners, suppliers and operators of gasoline stations and convenience stores. Our convenient stores are comprised of: Alltown, Jiffy Mart, T-Bird, Mr. Mike's, Alltown Fresh, XtraMart, On the Run and Fast Freddie's. Global is a publicly traded master limited partnership that is a midstream logistics and marketing company that owns, controls, or has access to one of the largest terminal networks of petroleum products and renewable fuels in the Northeast. Global also is one of the largest distributors of gasoline, distillates, residual oil and renewable fuels to wholesalers, retailers and commercial customers in New England and New York.Guest Service Associate Responsibilities:Customer ServiceRunning a cash register, this includes accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc.Completing shift reportCleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)Stocking shelves and coolersSweeping and mopping floorsGasoline tank inventory (stick readings)Checking product in as it is delivered from vendorsYard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells, etc.)Light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery, etc.)MerchandisingOther tasks assigned by managementAbility to communicate with associates and guestsAbility to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperworkGuest Service Associate Requirements:Wear required store uniformAvailable weekend, evening shifts and holidaysMust have reliable transportationMust attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassmentPhysical RequirementsFrequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbsBe able to lift up to 50lbs on occasionReaching above shoulder height and bending below waistBe able to freely access all areas of the storeMove quickly around storeResearch shows that many, especially women and marginalized people, are hesitant to apply for job if they don't check every box.
