More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at responsibilities as a Mobile Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers Perform emergency road calls Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment. To become part of the NFI team you: Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record  Own necessary essential tools Have a technical or advanced degree or 2 or more years of equivalent maintenance experience Have the ability to obtain a Class B license ASE Certification in preventative maintenance & brakes preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
