The ideal candidate will have held a similar role, have strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to design, create, and support new and existing applications and solutions. They will be responsible for generating and distributing key management reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, andor as needed basis. We would like this person to act as the primary go-to and subject matter expert on all IT Applications. Frequent interactions with managers and employees are required as you will consult with various teams and recommend IT Applications to address their specific requirements.JOB DESCRIPTIONOversees all aspects of the ERP and Financial Systems, including back-end components.Supports critical back-end business applications, such as ThruputSCM and EDI.Collaborates with IT team and office colleagues on production support matters, including critical issue resolution and ticket handling from business users.Upgrades hardware, application software, and operating system on IBM i, per the system requirements, including ERP and Financial System patches.Assesses the ERP and Financial System test environment, and may potentially delete and rebuild it if needed.Creates, updates, and deletes user profiles in XA, iSeries, and Extranet; takes ownership of IT's role in the new hire orientation process.Maintains all Disaster Recovery documents.Creates and manages a mid-month checklist and holds each department accountable for their roles.Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation for enterprise systems.Actively participates in ongoing design and architecture discussions.Participates in meetings with business stakeholders to define requirements for transformation into comprehensive functional and technical design documents.Designs and creates applications andor solutions for IBM Power Systems using native development tools, ensuring optimal functionality.Acts as a primary advocate for the development of best practices and the appropriate use of customization, ensuring adherence to standards and Info XA roadmaps.Develops and designs applications and writes specifications, utilizing up to date programming techniques.Maintains current applications and job control programs in ILE, CL, RPGIII, to free-format RPG on IBM i.Acquires necessary knowledge and understanding of assigned systems in order to efficiently direct programming efforts and resolve system complications, and follows all updates and system developments to provide technical guidance and assistance to the IT team.REQUIREMENTSAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology plus five (5) years of related experience; or10+ years of related experience.3+ years of general experience in ERP Systems Implementation, Support, and Project Management.2+ years of RPGLE and RPG-FREE (or equivalent) application development experience in a sizeable ERP environment.1+ year(s) of experience querying SQL Databases and working with Report Applications, such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, etc.Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of business processes and ERP system features within a manufacturing environment.Skilled at testing, debugging, and modifying applications utilizing multiple applications, such as RPGLE, RPG-FREE, CL, Webservices, XML, .Net, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML.A proven passion for technology and programming, continuous improvement, and proactive in identifying and presenting potential solutions. Must be self-motivated, organized, and can work independently or as a team player.Acts as a flexible contributor to problem-solving outside of defined role.Experience with API Management, Scripting, Automation or Data Integration Tools preferred but not required.- Please provide salary requirements in your application.
