AutomationControls SpecialistThere is an immediate opening for an AutomationControls Specialist with a global manufacturer of Food & Personal Care Products in the Newark, NJ area! We are seeking an individual that has a background in PLC Programming and creating HMI screens. This person will be supporting a variety of projects including new process line additions, equipment additions, and maintenance projects.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and maintaining PLCs and other related control systems.Collaborate with engineering consultants that are producing CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and managing said drawings.Coordinate with equipment vendors for a variety of items such as panel construction.Create I&C documentation (panel drawings, loop sheets, wiring schedules, etc.) and createmodify programs.QualificationsBS in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of relevant experience.Practical experience in a Manufacturing environment.Experience programming PLCS utilizing Functional Block (FB) and User Defined Tags (UDT) methods.Experience modifyingcreating HMI Screens.Familiarly with Emerson PLCs and GE Cimplicity HMI is a PLUS, not a must have.Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
