Job Overview: The Tax Manager will have primary responsibility over the management of federal and state income tax compliance, including: the federal consolidated income tax return, state separate and combined income tax returns, quarterly tax estimates, annual tax extensions, and state income tax audits. As a critical member of the Finance team, the Tax Manager will act as a strategic business partner on operating and business transaction projects. Responsibilities and Duties: · Manage federal and state income tax return compliance, ensuring timely filing of complete and accurate income tax returns using Corptax software· Assist with federal, state and local income tax audits· Provide support to the quarterlyannual tax provision process· Show a good understanding of multi-state tax issues and complexities· Research tax matters and document conclusions and recommendations· Support VP Tax on enterprise-wide tax, operating and business transaction projects Skills Required:Strong working knowledge of US Federal, State and International income taxAbility to understand and apply complex tax concepts to minimize taxes and riskExcellent research, written and oral communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelProficiency with Corptax software a must Qualifications:BSBBA in Accounting, CPA. MST or advanced degree preferred but not requiredMinimum of 7-10 years experience in PublicCorporate Tax This role will have a hybrid work schedule, requiring presence 3xweekly at the corporate office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
