The Teacher will apply consistent classroom management strategies to support an orderlyclassroom and fulfill assigned extra duties which may include carpool andor the lunch hour.The ideal candidate for this position should hold a B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year college or university, ateacher certification or enrolled in a teacher certification program, and a strong interest in the education of earlyelementary students. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strongwork ethic, a positive and enthusiastic personality, and a strong command of the English language, as well as theability to work well as part of a team.Applicants should be strong team players and be very initiative-taking and flexible. Final candidates need to beprepared for a teaching demonstration.DutiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:â— Develop, plan, and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for students withininterdisciplinary teaching in collaboration with Curriculum Specialist and Pedagogy Specialist as needed.â— Advise, test, and teach students in a variety of academic subjects.
