Company: Truong EnterprisesRole: Lead Maintenance TechnicianType: direct hire, full-timeLocation: Chicago, IL (100% onsite)Salary: $65KyrLanguage: fluent English and Spanish - highly preferredShift hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as neededUnable to sponsor visas now or in the future.No 3rd parties please.Job DescriptionThe Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the functionality of the premises, maintaining and repairing forklifts, and other warehouse equipment. Perform repairs to building, HVAC installations, landscaping, etc. Preventative maintenance on trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment. Manage and repairs to other owned facilities as needed. Truong operates out of a 95K sqft warehouse with multiple rippening storage rooms (room temperature, cold, and freezer storage).Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Schedule routine preventative maintenance of product-moving equipment, facility doors, air conditioning units, filters, refrigerant levels, airducts, painting, etcAssist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.Basic electrical, repair circuit breaker panels, replacing light switches and bulbs, etcMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure spect alarm systems (fire, protection and schedule repairs as needed.Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.Using forethought to anticipate overall facility and warehouse needs.Requirements and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; certified in HVAC, building maintenance or relevant field experience is preferred.Working knowledge of tools, electric tools, common appliances and devicesBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs and over 50lbs with assistance.Ability to lift and carry waist, shoulder, and overhead high.Ability to work in a cold and hot environment.Ability to be flexible with early schedule and holidays schedule.Ability to walk, stand, and sit for the duration of the work shift.Able to use an electric hand pallet jack, standup pallet jack, and forklift.BenefitsMedical, Dental, 401K, 6 observed holidays, PTO About Us Truong Enterprises, Inc. is a leading ethnic foods distributor in the Midwest with a drive for continuous growth and expansion.
