Job Description

The Bellperson is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to all customers while handling luggage and guest property.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining accurate property information through daily use of intranet, email and other forms of communicationAssists customers with their luggage and provides information with respect to available services and facilities within the hotel and casinoReceives baggage, tags it and gives ticket to customerResponsible for the coordination of luggage flow within and outside of the propertyProvides prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers, promoting positive customer relationsOrients customers to room facilities by explaining the different features available in the room, including the operation of the air-conditioning unit, television and other special features providedOffers to retrieve ice and order other amenities such as extra pillows or cribsDelivers keys and other amenities to room upon requestExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentMust be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts andor unusual hoursMust be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the CasinoHotel areasMust be able to lift -push-pull up to 100 lbsMust be able to read, write and understand EnglishCommunicate with end users on quality issuesKnowledge of computer skills and knowledge of software applicationsEssential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentMust be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts andor unusual hoursMust be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the CasinoHotel areasMust be able to lift -push-pull up to 100 lbsMust be able to read, write and understand EnglishCommunicate with end users on quality issuesKnowledge of computer skills and knowledge of software applicationsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent qualification preferredOne year in Customer Service experience requiredBenefitsTraining & DevelopmentFree Meal while on shiftFree Parking
