Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Neuro ICU Physician Assistant. This is a nightshift position that involves managing a variety of patients in the critical care setting under the direction and supervision of the Neurointensivist. The PA will provide direct and indirect patient care to a patient population consisting of stroke, cerebral edema, brain tumors, and neurosurgical interventions. In addition, the PA will serve as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Successful applicants have completed a program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education, have a New Jersey Physician Assistant License, and certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician's Assistants within one year of initial employment.
