A steadfast commitment to consistency, quality, and quick turnarounds has powered FPW's continued growth, year over year.Reports to: Executive Director of Creative ServicesJob Overview: As the Sr. Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and modification of design content. From logo design to art direction, renderings, mockups, and print production, this position will have its hand in a variety of projects. A large majority of work will be completed within the Adobe Suite, primarily (but not limited to) Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD. Established proficiency in the Adobe design suite is critical. Design direction for this work may need to be obtained from multiple sources. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability and confidence to decipher direction and ultimately meet or exceed expectations. Note: This is an onsite, in-person position.Please provide a portfolio along with your resume. FLSA StatusAppointment: This is a full-time, non-exempt position.Responsibilities and Duties:Create new brand assets in various formatsModify existing brand assets for use across a variety of platforms and channelsDevelop comprehensive brand standards (asset use, color, typography, mood, etc.)Intake design needs and deciphers design directionCreate website wireframes in collaboration with website development teamPrepare collateral for both printing and digital needsDevelop best-value creative recommendationsProvide designart input for multiple projects, spanning various industriesOptimize imagery for use across a variety of platforms and channelsPerform design-related quality control functionsConceptualize visuals based on design directionDevelop and suggest interior decoration and layout designsOther duties as assigned.Knowledge ExpectationsTime Management Skills: utilize excellent time management and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize tasks appropriately, and delegate when appropriate. Must be able to multitask - demonstrating the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesProblem-solving skills: Must display the ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects simultaneously and accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions.Critical thinking skills: must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, direct reports, managers, peers, and munication skills: must be able to listen carefully to accurately gather facts and figures from clients, managers, peers, and stakeholders. Must also be able to clearly articulate the results of your work and present their findings in written reports. Must be able to organize, facilitate, and collaborate within cross-functional teams - demonstrating a collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needsAttention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the puter literacy: need to be able to use computer-based tools to work effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suites or related software.Autonomy: Must have the ability to perform duties independently and autonomously with limited direction.Skills and QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience5+ years of related experience in a design environment and deadline-driven workplaceProficiency in the Adobe Design Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and XD)Experience using 3D programs like Sketch-up or Revit a plusExperience designing interior layouts a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsProficiency in GSuite applicationsProficiency in design standards and principlesPrint experience and in-depth knowledge of Pre-press; andExperience managing and prioritizing multiple projects at once.Understanding and past experience with offline media and print productionsMinimum Physical Requirements: Ability to operate, carry, lift, and move equipment (up to 25 lbs)Ability to work long hours and unpredictable hoursReliable and predictable attendanceAbility to sit for long periods of time.Ability to type and use a computer pensation: $23.50-$28.00, DOEBenefits:Health & Vision Insurance | Your health is important to us.
