PROJECT MANAGER - TAMPA ST. PETE AREACrestview Management, LLC (an affiliate of Columbia Sussex) is a hotel developer, owneroperator with 50 years' experience developing and managing properties throughout the US and Caribbean. We are currently searching for a Construction Project Manager in the Tampa St. Pete area. Columbia Sussex performs construction management in house, managing projects directly. Type of projects range from franchisor product improvement plans (PIPs), interior renovations, CAPEX upgrades, andor full ground up development. The Project Manager will report directly to the company Director of Construction.This position requires the candidate to work out of the Corporate Office in Crestview Hills, KY, with travel to assigned projects as needed.Qualifications:-         Minimum of 8 years' experience as a commercial Project Manager. Preferable experience in the hospitality construction industry.-         Ability to buyout construction projects with bid packages and scopes of work based on construction documents.-         Ability to work independently with a computer and smart phone.-         Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, MS Teams, Bluebeam, and Email.-         Ability to travel throughout the US and Caribbean. Prefer a candidate with a current valid passport. Travel required as project needs.-         Ability to make informed decisions regarding day-to-day operations of construction projects.Responsibilities:-         Manage all aspects of the projects from concept to completion. This includes design, permitting, subcontracting, purchasing, and construction.-         Work with outside consultants (Architects, Engineers, & Interior Designers) to produce construction documents.-         Perform quantity takeoff of various materials, and FF&E. Work with in-house purchasing to purchase all owner supplied items.-         Coordinate and direct all construction activities on the assigned projects.-         Create an overall construction schedule and push the schedule to completion.-         Create a safe work site by implementing company and OSHA regulations.-         Work with superintendents for on-site management.-         Work directly with contracted consultants to answer field RFIs.-         Keep all drawings, RFIs, and submittals up to date.-         Run weekly project coordination meetings.-         Create and execute bid packages from bidding to contracting.We offer a competitive wage, Health and Dental Insurance, company paid Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Vision, Critical Illness, Accidental, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days, free hotel rooms and hotel discounts. E.O.E.
