ARRI Americas, world renowned distributor of Premier Professional Motion Picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for a Director of Marketing, or in other words someone who can make us look as good as we are! We have 100 plus years of skill, expertise and drive behind our name and pride in our standing within the entertainment industry, we need a stellar Marketing Director to support us. This position can be located in Burbank, CA or Long Island City, NY.This critical role within our group will lead a team of 6 Marketing Professionals and manage marketing activities for the entire ARRI Americas group organization. They will execute all Marketing activities for Camera and Lighting Sales, ARRI Rental and Illumination Dynamics. This includes all regional communications, advertising, event organization, social media, press relations, and coordinating efforts with our global marketing team. This seasoned professional will work closely with our Sales, Solutions, Rental and Live Entertainment teams in assisting to identify new applications for ARRI Products and Solutions involving ARRI lighting and camera products.The ability to foster a dynamic team environment, develop strong relationships with our international and domestic colleagues and customers, communicate in a manner which inspires and intrigues, and to present in a manner that motivates is necessary in this role. The salary range for this role is $130,000-$190,000 annually and is dependent upon experience and skill set.Essential Job Functions:Proactively develops and implements an internet-based communications planContribute regional postings to ARRI's social media platformsDistribute eNewsletters and email blasts using Sugar CRM databaseManage internet news campaigns with external blogs and websitesDevelops and executes marketing communications plan for each product groupWorks with Product Sales Managers to develop a sales and marketing plan for each product linePlans and manages annual marketing budgetManages marketing incentive programs with key resellers, proactively developing plans for events, social media and website, and approving qualified marketing creditsCoordinates marketing activities with other ARRI companies and global marketing team, providing an American market perspective, and leverage marketing communications across various media platformsManages major events and tradeshowsCollects market research on productions, camera and DI product placements, aggregating information to supply to sales teams and BU product managersRepresents the company at leading industry organizations, industry events and film festivalsOversees sponsoring programsFosters relationships with key customers and important industry contacts, including cinematographers, gaffers, rental companies, studio production execs, producers and directors.Defines and promotes application-driven integrated Solutions that combine ARRI lighting and camera products.Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of staff in accordance with ARRI Inc.'s policies, procedures and all applicable laws. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing and hiring of staff; training of employees; planning assigning and directing workload; appraising performance; coaching and disciplining of staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
