Our higher education client in the technology space is looking for a Product Designer with 3+ years' expereince for an immediate full time contract role. You'll be working across teams in design, product management, and engineering. The work will focus on producing detailed design documentation for product interface and experience, along with supporting the development process by answering questions and performing front-end quality assurance. Responsibilities:Work in Figma and Whimsical executing from wireframes to high fidelity full featured specifications to clickable prototypesProduce supporting documentation such as design plans, annotations, and Jira ticketsManage deadlines for product design deliverables.Work across multiple departments to understand different needsCreate and communicate effective user-centered design solutions"”at all fidelities"”with teammates and stakeholders, using flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Looking for: 3+ years of commercial software experience design working within multidisciplinary teams under dynamic conditionsSamples of previous workExperience designing technology-focused tool or learning environments, such as editors, configurators, and terminalsExperience designing and prototyping in software industry standard toolsA link to your work samples and explanationsIdeally looking for SaaS or E-Learning experienceFamiliarity with general front-end technologies, for example CSS, Javascript, React, JSON (although this is not a coding role) Involvement in qualitative user research projects end-to-end, from recruiting through reporting
