Role: Senior Project Manager - Cyber SecurityLocation: Remote but must be within 45 minutes driving distance from one of the locations belowNYC, NJ, NY, DC, Charlotte, NJ, Chicago, IL, Houston, TXDuration: June 2024 to October 2024 Industry: BankingResponsibilities: Lead and manage the development and implementation of cyber event recoveryreconnection playbooks, driving the project from initiation through completion.Utilize project management methodologies and organizational tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to establish project plans, timelines, deliverables, and status reports for playbook development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and information necessary for playbook creation.Facilitate communication and coordination with cross-functional and external stakeholders to integrate service disconnection and reconnection activities into the playbook.Serve as the owner for developing, enhancing, incorporating review feedback, and maintaining the cyber event recoveryreconnection playbooks.Schedule meetings to gather requirements, review the updated playbook and clarifyconfirm the incorporated feedback.Implement process optimization techniques to strengthen recovery and reconnection related processesConduct regular reviews and updates to cyber event recoveryreconnection playbooks including analyzing information from other sources such as on emerging cyber threats and organizational changes.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or cyber incident management demonstrating a strong command of incident response processes, principles, and best practices.Proven track record in project management, with extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional projects to successful outcomes.Experience managing projects in Financial Services industry is highly preferred and advantageous to have knowledge of financial services industry reconnection frameworkExperienced in process definition such as in developing policies, procedures, standards or playbooks.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Familiarity with incident and project management platforms such as ServiceNow or similar toolsDeep proficiency in process management methodologies and tools, coupled with a commitment to driving operational excellence.Analytical mindset with superior problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PMI-ACP are highly desirable.
