And if it's outside, we're all in.LL Bean is seeking a 2nd Shift licensed Industrial Master Electrician or Journeymen who is ready to sit for the Master exam - to work in their fast-paced, high tech Order Fulfillment Center in Freeport.  This is a full-time position with a work schedule Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Uniforms and tools provided.Position Purpose: In this important role this person will perform all senior level electrical maintenance functions requiring advanced knowledge of electrical transmission, distribution, utilization, and control of electrical energy up to 600 volts AC. Serve as electrical safety oversight resource across the company to leaders, engineering, project managers, risk management, etc. for any concerns related to electrical safety in the workplace.Responsibilities:Provides second level support for complex problems to all departments for electrical maintenance and problemsPerforms preventative maintenance functions on a variety of complex industrial equipment and facilities as scheduledApplies computer skills to troubleshoot and repair automated industrial PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled equipmentInstall, maintain, and support complex robotics, sorting, auto-bagging, scanning and vision systemsInstalls, upgrades, and maintains a variety of power distribution systems including main service panels, transformers, sub panels, modular furniture systems and emergency generator power distribution systemsInstalls, maintains, and troubleshoots all lighting systemsFollows procedures and properly handles Universal Waste per state guidelinesApplies advanced knowledge of decision-making processes, precautionary techniques, job planning, personal protective equipment, and test equipment to recognize and avoid electrical hazards while safely performing electrical maintenance tasksActs as internal resource providing support and expertise required for projects and maintenanceMay act as project lead May oversee the work of electrical or equipment contractors and vendorsCollaborates with internal clients in support of new and existing technology requirementsMentor and support junior level electriciansIdentifies electrical hazard conditions or actions that may cause injury or property damage and ensures action to abate themAssures appropriate communication of issues and problems to coworkers and leadership. Collaborates with team as needed to achieve objectives. Shares expertise in support of others to build technical and diagnostic strength in the team.Provides 24/7 on call coverage at designated times as required to meet business demands and off shift shut downsAssumes additional responsibilities as assignedThis position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position.
