Electronics and approved for FAA Accessory Class 1, 2, and 3 and Specialized Services.Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Ronkonkoma, NY for an Aviation Electronics Technician. The Aviation Electronics Technician will be responsible for performing component level electronic repairs, maintaining aircraft systems, repairing and troubleshooting electronics. The role involves working with aircraft maintenance and interpreting wiring diagrams. We're looking for individuals that have experience working with pneumatic valves, pumps, inverters, converters and AC/DC Starter Generators. It's preferred to know AC/DC power theory, Ohms law, and basic electronic theory to join our team in Ronkonkoma, NY. The ideal candidates should have a strong technical background and be comfortable working with various hand tools and equipment. The Bench Technician will also be expected to document their work and keep detailed records of repairs.QualificationsPrior experience in the aviation industry is preferredExperience in electronics repair and aircraft systemsKnowledge of electronics technology and aircraft maintenanceAbility to interpret wiring diagramsStrong problem-solving, diagnostics and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFAA or EASA certification is a plusHas hand tools
