Position: Facilities Operation TechnicianNot sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Location: Farmer's Branch, TXDuration: 6-month contract-to-hireWolfspeed is seeking Facilities Operations Technicians to join the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Team at our new location in Farmers Branch, TX. This position requires you to perform all aspects of maintenance of the systems that provide uninterrupted services and critical utilities as needed to maintain life safety and production. To ensure that the facilities are maintained and conditioned as needed to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and enable Wolfspeed team members to be productive while performing their job functions. This position works a compressed work schedule of 12 hour shifts alternating 3 and 4 days per week. The Day-to-Day:Utilize control systems to monitor equipment within the factory, review system trends, respond to alarms and other urgent facility situations, and troubleshoot operational parameters that fall outside of normal operating parametersUse a CMMS system to perform and ensure maintenance is completed and documentedImplement, write, review, and use standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure accurate records are maintained of daily work activities, maintenance, system health, and critical parameters by ensuring documentation and drawings are always kept up to dateUtilize root cause analysis to determine failure causes and implement preventive actions to mitigate future system issuesSupport the 24/7 Facilities operations teamProvide support for new facilities and manufacturing equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and sustaining operationsFollow established environmental, health, safety, and facilities operational processes and procedures to ensure risks are mitigated and work is completed safely and reliablyThis Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): 3 years of industrial maintenance related experience or a combination of education, technical degree, or certificatesUse of computerized CMMS and building management systems / SCADA to maintain and troubleshoot facilities equipmentMust be able to work safely, use all personal protective equipment and attend training as required by OSHA and job requirementsCommunicate and document clearly (verbal and written) and ability to work from verbal and written instructions, manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, piping and instrument diagrams, work orders and specificationsMust be an assertive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and direction.Must be able to work in a 24 hour on-call situations. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentAbility to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, includes standing or walking over hard concrete surface, and climbing ladders
