The position will be the key member of service team, performing Preventative and corrective maintenance and additional Services on Battery and PV projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:as a lead on O&M maintenance and troubleshooting assignments for Battery Storage and Inverterscommissioning of Battery storage systems (AC & DC couple) and PV solar inverters to preparevarious maintenance tasks with software involved in the operation, testing and maintenance of central inverters and battery storage unitselectrical troubleshooting and testing of inverters. Use of PQA and oscilloscope as neededtroubleshooting to investigate plant issues (DC battery/inverter faults, MV transformers)feedback on possible mechanical and electrical design improvementswork in the field and communicate effectively with customerswith EMS/SCADA engineers to troubleshoot system faultsField Service procedures if there is not available for trouble-shooting, and maintenancedocument work completed into maintenance tracking systemwith R&D engineering in China if required help during troubleshootingperforms a range of maintenance/repair tasks involving communication with Factory Engineeringclosely with engineering, logistics, and Commissioning teams to maintain the plantsusage of spare part inventorydeliver and submit field reports to customer and managementdevelopment of technical proposal and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of worksite visits, investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and recommendationsMinimum Requirements:plus years of overall experience in engineering/maintenanceyears of experience in Battery Storage systems and/or 2 years for solar inverterspossess the ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as requiredpossess customer service, problem-solving skills, and possess decision making and analytical skillspossess effective written and verbal communication skillsbe able to closely follow instruction and pre-established procedures/SOP to perform the duties of the jobbe proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook)NFPA70E, Electrical SafetyEducation or Desired License and Certificates:Renewable industry experience is required Power Electronics experience is requiredCompetenciesTechnical problem solving/analytical skillsSelf-starter, strong initiatives and an excellent communicatorSystem and product level mindsetDetailed-oriented nature and strong initiative Strong technical support focus and a service-oriented individual both with Sales team and customers TravelUp to 75% short distance travel to the assigned projects in your regionWork Location and Status:time, Texasvisa/legal sponsorshipCompensation:commensurate with experiencebenefits package and employee programspersonal and company growth opportunitiesFor candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated base pay for this role is between $36 to $40/hr plus OT. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
