Our company prioritizes the professional development of our employees and contractors, providing valuable training opportunities for individuals to launch successful careers in the oil and gas industry.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Role DescriptionAs a Contract Landman, you will be responsible for conducting mineral and leasehold title research, generating ownership reports and runsheets, and negotiating lease agreements.Please note: this role is listed as "On-site in Midland, Texas", however, selected candidates must be willing to travel and work on-site in courthouses across various counties throughout the Permian Basin (West Texas and Southeast New Mexico).QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience as a landman focused on mineral and leasehold titleBachelor's degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Commerce, Business Management, or related fieldExperience in researching and interpreting lease agreements and other mineral related contractsProficiency in conducting title examinations and due diligence on state, federal and fee landsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to analyze complex dataWillingness to travel and ability to work on-site in courthouses Monday - FridayDemonstrated competitive mentalityStrong determination to succeedCompensationDay Rate commensurate with experience.
