Title: Sr. Peoplesoft Functional Lead Location: Chelsea, MA (Hybrid)Duration: Multi Year Renewable ContractHours: 37.5 Hours Per weekBe one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.Overview: Client is seeking a motivated, experienced IT professional to join the Enterprise Application Services Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development; complex hybrid architecture both physical and on cloud platforms; exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating on cross-functional teams; and the skills to effectively troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve issues to ensure applications remain operational. This position will support daily activities for multiple functional areas and systems that support 24/7 operations and requires the candidate to collaborate with cross functional teams in a fast paced and fluid setting.The incumbent of this position supports a number of enterprise applications. The selected candidate will perform activities related to the analysis, design, testing, maintenance, and support of the HRCMS - Human Resources/Compensation Management System, an Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll application. Activities are conducted in conformity with client standards.The individual will facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups; and participate in all phases of the project life cycle with emphasis on application design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, and thorough understanding of application interfaces.Responsibilities: Configure, Design, support development of enhancements to Peoplesoft HCM application.Stay abreast of the new releases of Images, tax updates and patches.Present new features delivered to the project governance board.Independently work on tasks end to end, take ownership from Design to Production migration including communication to various teamsHandle all customer requests promptly within the organization's SLA.Ensure that products conform to Section 508 Accessibility requirements.Provide support to Business analysts in production support or new functionality fit-gap sessions.Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure development, configuration and implementation is consistent with user specifications and perform follow-up as required.Advise Management on administrative and operating problems pertaining to system administration and management.Participate in all phases of application test scripting and testing.Provide best practice and approach to implementing new functionality.Ensure that the scheduled migrations are accurate and timely.Train the FTE Staff in the new featuresQualifications: Required 7+ years of Experience in Peoplesoft HCM ImplementationsRequired 4+ years of leading business fit-gap session and requirements development.Expert in providing demos of new features and functionality.Expert in operationalizing the new features and work with developers in automationExtend training of the changes to the existing or new functionality to FTE StaffPossess excellent communication and documentation skillsRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
