This candidate should have strong technical acumen in industrial automation and systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment, specifically, experience in designing new product and technology introductions, equipment projects (new and continuous improvement), process optimization, upgrades, and modifications.In addition to developing manufacturing equipment and processes, the ideal candidate will lead a team of technical manufacturing engineers and specialized engineering technicians to build and maintain these systems. They will work closely with R&D, Factory Design, Construction, Quality and Production to take new cell designs or design changes from initial concept through prototype development and into full production. This role will also ensure quality and safety of manufacturing operations, striving to create an environment that drives creativity, engineering first principles, and fostering an open, collaborative environment.
