Job Description

IPC is seeking a Part-Time User Experience Design Specialist, this person will play an essential role in the design, accessibility and usability of IPC Web (), the company's web portal which serves as the central experience hub for Subway® franchisees, business developers, restaurant managers and field staff. Optimizing design and the search engine is as important in this role as ensuring that the website is mobile-friendly and responsive.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdate and manage website content in Sitecore, our company's content management system (CMS), and business material such as graphics, PDF's, and HTML language, ensuring all content is up to date, relevant, and aligned with UX best practices.Collaborate with the IT department and Sitecore developers to implement new features and functionalities, ensuring a seamless user experience.Review website content and graphics layout, helping keep information on our platform consistent, current and easy to find. Utilize Sitecore to create and execute task completion.Stay updated with digital content trends, and industry standards to recommend experience improvements for all users, especially IPC members.Assist with frontend website testing, troubleshooting and documenting errors in a production environment after IT deployments.Address website content-related issues by coordinating with IPC Communication team members for resolution.Maintain a communication request library and content assets from different areas of the business using SharePoint.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesWebsite layout and design principles, UX design experience preferredFamiliarity with information architecture and interaction designWork effectively under tight deadlines and in a team environment.Experience in testing websites and web applications.Willingness to explore industry trends in technology and design with the Communications and IT teams.Ability to troubleshoot common issues within Sitecore and coordinate with technical teams for more complex problems.Proficiency in using various application software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign for design, and MS Office and Google apps (specifically, analytics and forms).Qualifications and experienceBachelor's degree in web design, computer science or software development preferred.Strong technical background; Sitecore experience preferred, including content publishing, and managing assets; SharePoint experience is a plus.1-2 years of experience with digital content creation, content management, or a related field.Excellent communication skills with attention to detailCritical thinking and solutions drivenProficiency in using various application software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign for design, and MS Office and Google apps (specifically, analytics and forms).DisclaimerThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required for the position.
