Job Description

The Electrical Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for the inspection, repair, installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and production equipment. This role ensures the efficient operation of plant equipment, production machinery, and facilities while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and relevant regulations.Experience in Plastics preferred.Install and troubleshoot electrical circuits, including voltage troubleshooting on 480V, 277V, 220V, and 120V systems.Troubleshoot, program, and repair Robotics.Troubleshoot and program PLC systems.Interpret blueprints and schematics.Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as electrical power supply and control circuits.Identify root problems and repair blow molders, baggers, and support equipment.Perform mechanical changes, including mold and pin adjustments.Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.Conduct hydraulic checks and perform changes on valves, hoses, and pumps.Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all related equipment.Undertake welding and fabrication tasks as needed.Collaborate with other departments to gather information and feedback for efficient machine operation.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance and electrical experience.Proficient in reading and comprehending English instructions, correspondence, forms, and memos.May require current OSHA forklift certification.Competencies: Strong commitment to safe work practices.Proficiency in electro-mechanical skills.Effective problem-solving abilities in a production environment with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills.Self-management and the ability to work independently.Basic computer skills.
