Summary/Objective: Bigge is always on the lookout for trained, skilled mechanics to support our ever-growing fleet. Our goal is to become the largest crane company in America, and we need talented, dedicated crane mechanics to make that happen. Responsibilities: * Repairing and maintaining medium and light-duty vehicles and various types of yard equipment, including pressure washers and small forklifts with a primary focus on the service and repair of said equipment. * Must have a strong background in electrical, drive train, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems. * Has at least 3 - 5 years of experience in the mechanical diagnosing, repairing, and maintenance of medium and light-duty vehicles focusing on gas and diesel pick-ups. * Will be able to work evenings and weekends for needed repairs in the shop. * Willing to make service calls as needed to "rescue" vehicles incapacitated out away from the shop. * Must be capable of communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors and other personnel. * Able to read schematics * Must be able to perform competent inspections of all vehicles and small equipment * Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
