The integrity of the sport and the welfare of greyhounds are both significant components of the strategic objectives of GRV.Job DescriptionGreyhound Racing Victoria is looking for someone to foster compliance with the rules of racing and promote greyhound welfare by leading inquiries and investigations. We have two, full-time ongoing Investigative Steward opportunities available in our Integrity and Welfare team for an immediate start.Are you an experienced inspector or investigator looking for a new challenge?Join a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the greyhound racing industry through a strong commitment to animal welfare, fairness, and transparency.As an Investigative Steward with Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV), you will play a key role in ensuring that GRV registered participants adhere to the Rules of Racing, the Code of Practice for the Keeping of Racing Greyhounds, and all relevant legislation. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting property and kennels inspections, as well as inquiries and investigations across Victoria into potential or alleged compliance breaches.This role offers a dynamic work environment. Flexibility is essential, as the position involves a mix of day, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts based on the GRV investigative needs.
