Our client is looking for a CFO to lead a large vertically integrated food business. This is a critical appointment, responsible for the development and set up of the financial function which incorporates all aspects of the company''s reporting, internal auditing, financial management, M&A and strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with the vision and expertise to guide the company into its next phase of growth.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management and ReportingOversee financial management and reportingAnswer any enquiries from the Investment Fund ownersDevelop and review annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignmentIdentify and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, operational, and liquidity risks. Develop and implement strategies to safeguard company assets and investmentsProvide monthly variance analysis to budgets and forecastsPresent accurate financial results and insights to the CEO, the board, and senior stakeholders in a timely mannerConduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and return on investment (ROI) assessments. Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-makingLiaise with external accountants and lawyers on all tax matters to ensure compliance with financial, tax and other obligationsManage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to optimize returns while maintaining financial stability. Develop and implement cash management policies and proceduresConduct research and analysis for potential investment opportunitiesOversee Treasury operations, including trading and capital management strategies, to maintain strong financial health and liquiditySupport M&A negotiations, lead due diligence ensuring alignment with Aurora Dairies strategic objectives and maximising value creationOperational ExcellenceIdentify opportunities to improve processes and systems while reducing costsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive effectivenessAssess business cases for CAPEX and analyse ROIStrategic LeadershipProvide strategic direction to ensure efficient business operation on financial aspectsSet financial goals and priorities, establishing performance measures for progress trackingIdentify opportunities for expansion and diversification in existing and new marketsYour background:10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with excellent financial management expertise, including prior CFO experience ideally within a food or agricultural business.Finance degree with further qualification, either a CPA or CAExperience working with and leading a business with multiple locations and operations.Strong leadership skills with advanced interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations, leading through influence.A highly commercial focus and approach, with prior experience in M&A execution and integration.Strong treasury management experience, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and capital allocation.Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.Strong stakeholder management skillset with an ability to work across a growing organisation to develop and execute strategy.Able to develop and implement best practice processes and systems, providing rigor across the organisation.If you are interested in this position please apply, and we will be in contact regarding your application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
