With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hours drive from the CBD, Melbournes North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the Residential InReach Team at Northern Health.The Administration Assistant works within the Hospital Without Walls Division in Residential InReach to provide staffing support specifically to Clinicians and Managers.Administration aspects of this role will be varied and will include data entry, phone and email communication with our consumers, clinical staff and external providers.This position is Part-Time including weekends and public holidays.This position is responsible for:Utilising relevant software programs including HMS, CPF, iPM, Microsoft Office suite (in particular, Excel)Maintaining accurate administration practices and entry of patient information into the appropriate IT ApplicationsWorking and liaising with Community program managers, clinicians and administrative staff in performing daily tasksFollowing established processes for the relevant area in undertaking daily work as directed by supervisorThe position is based at Epping; however, staff may be required to travel and work across the various Northern Health campuses, programs, and partner organisations.To be successful in this role you will have:Be motivated, flexible, adaptable and available weekendsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Courteous and friendly customer-focused communication.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and prioritise workload.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team to provide accurate, timely and responsive administration support.Experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.Next Steps . .If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
