Be part of something bigger at Suncorp.Launch Your Finance Career with Us: Exciting Opportunity for an Assistant Finance Analyst in Sydney!We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented entry-level Financial Analyst/Accountant to join our Finance and Advice team in Sydney.This role supports month-end processes, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting in Consumer Finance within Insurance Australias CFO division, making it a great opportunity for recent graduates or those with a foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles.What youll doDeliver end of month finance processes in a timely and accurate manner.Proactively support with investigation and timely resolutions of data variances and reconciliations.Prepare and process accounting journals.Supporting delivery of key management reporting activities including monthly Management and Board reporting, Full Year and Half Year external reporting to the market.Support with maintenance and update of financial systems and databases.Analytical support with the forecasting and budgeting processes.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver performance management insights.Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of business drivers and trends that support management reporting.What we can offer youAt Suncorp, we offer benefits that support, empower, and reward our people.
