We also believe all roles are genuinely flexible at IFM - so we are happy to talk through what this might look like for you.The RoleThis role will work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver all management and statutory reporting obligations required from the ISPT''s Fund Accounting team.Key duties will include:Monthly management packs - preparation of monthly net asset value calculationsBalance sheet reconciliations - monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to reports from property managersQuarterly distributions - preparation of tax calculations to support quarterly distributions and reviewing distribution payment calculations from Funds'' registryMaintaining capex depreciation schedules - coordinating with external advisors who maintain the capex depreciation schedulesAnnual financial statements - preparation of interim and annual financial reports in accordance with the Australian Accounting StandardsTax compliance reporting - preparation of BAS returns as well as liaising with tax advisors with respect to annual tax statements and income tax returnsOther reporting items - preparation of debt compliance certificates and ASIC Regulatory Guide 46 disclosuresYour Background and ExperienceDegree qualificationStudying towards or completed CA/CPAExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) and proficient in ExcelStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentStrong technical knowledge both in accounting and taxTeam player and takes ownership of work and deliverablesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPrevious end-to-end accounting experience within property fund accounting not required but highly desirableReady to invest in what matters?With IFM, that includes your own career.
