CoMade is now looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our corporate team here in Melbourne, Victoria. As our Electrical Estimator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and competitive estimation of electrical costs for diverse projects.Key Responsibilities:Manage the delivery of tenders on-time and in accordance with project requirementsPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects across infrastructure, renewables, and utility sectorsAnalyse drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirementsLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingAnalyse quotes to ensure competitive pricing and identify any gapsWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates are developedAssess potential project risks and highlight them to the Project ManagerMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricingContribute to tendering processes, proposals, and contract negotiationsMaintain the business supplier pricing database and project cost recordsAs the suitable candidate for the role, you have experience in the estimating of LV and HV underground and overhead network infrastructure installations and modifications, Substations, Modification/relocation works with exposure to Customer connections and Main switchboard installations, Metering and SCADA/controls systems.About You:The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of experience in electrical estimating, with a strong preference for those who have worked on major infrastructure projects (heavy industry/oil and gas sectors) within Australia. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a familiarity with electrical estimating software are essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities, alongside strong communication skills and a proven track record of building effective client relationships.
