This role is full time fixed term for 12 months, with shifts Monday to Friday weekly within the opening hours of 7:30am 4pm.As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, youll make a positive impact by:Performing intake assessments and risk assessmentsProviding crisis interventionPlanning case formulation and treatment planningPlanning care coordinationPerforming mental health screeningsAbout ADF Health ServicesIn partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. Shifts are lifestyle friendly in this Mental Health Registered Nurse role, being Monday to Friday day shifts no nights or weekends.To be successful in this role youll have the following:Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN); OR minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing; OR Mental Health trained nurse / United Kingdom trained undergraduate Mental Health NurseMinimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Registered Nurse general registration experience within the previous 5 years in mental health in a primary health setting or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based Focussed Psychological Strategies as defined under the Medicare SchedulePlease note: You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
