Our work spans across Greater Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, and the Bass Coast, ensuring the voices and traditions of our ancestors continue to be recognised and respected.Your RoleThe Strong Country Ranger will work under the direction of the Strong Country Ranger Team Leaders to support land management activities across the Bunurong RAP area. This role includes participating in fire management, pest and invasive species control, wildlife conservation, bushland regeneration and revegetation, to protect and restore Bunurong Country in alignment with cultural values and environmental standards.What Were Looking ForWe are seeking an Aboriginal person Aboriginality is mandatory (Bunurong Nation desirable) who is passionate about caring for Country and eager to grow their skills in land and cultural management. You will:Support On-Country Work Assist with cultural burning, pest control, wildlife conservation, revegetation, and safe equipment use.Bring Practical Skills or Willingness to Learn Experience or interest in land, fire, pest, or wildlife management is valued.
