From assessments through to closure, Jacobs is well placed to support them on that journey.With this rapid growth, we have a mid-level Project Manager - Resources Hub role on offer and your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):Project and Design Management: Work as part of a team to provide project and design management services to clients in the Resources and New Energy sector. Manage engineering design packages and run small to medium engineering consulting projects within Jacobs, and on small capital projects for external clients, with support and coaching from the Designated Project Executive. Design management will include multidisciplinary civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering disciplines.Project Execution: Direct the success of projects through the achievement of project objectives and KPIs. Manage and coordinate studies, engineering, design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, quality, health and safety, finance, and administration, and cost and schedule activities of the projects.Quality Assurance: Implement Jacobs QA procedures and Client QA requirements. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.Hands-On Management: Engage in hands-on project and design management, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering disciplines.Time and Budget Management: Manage time, cost, budget, and change management. Facilitate the production of documentation to enable studies and construction. Ensure project work complies with the project scope of works, statutory/regulatory requirements, and client standards.Field Support: Support fieldwork of clients and their contractors during commissioning. Manage the review of drawings and documents by Senior Designers and Engineers in various groups.Commercial Outcomes: Meet commercial outcomes by managing own hours and budgets, and where applicable, hours and budgets of other team members. Report and monitor project financial performance. Prepare cost estimates and drawing lists for projects.Assistant Project Manager Duties: Provide Assistant Project Manager duties on medium and large consulting projects within Jacobs and on medium and large capital and external projects with support and coaching from the Senior Project Manager.Business Development: Actively support in winning projects for the Resources Hub.Global Collaboration: Support your PU to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships to maximize the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.Here''s what you''ll needRelevant Tertiary Degree and MUST demonstrated professional Project Management / Project Engineering experience within the Mining resources sector.Current knowledge of project delivery methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with mining resources projects.Experience and demonstrated track record of successfully delivering within various aspects of project management delivery including the planning, design and commissioning processes, construction methods and interface requirements of multi-disciplinary studies and projects for resources and/or new energy key clients.Strong understanding of managing engineering design packages and multidisciplinary engineering disciplines.Strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management software.A strategic and innovative mindset coupled with the ability to solve complex problems, using strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others.*We''re open to considering candidates who need to work around school drop-offs/pick-ups or those interested in full-time/part-time job-sharing arrangements - we understand the importance of balancing work commitments with family responsibilities.Jacobs.
