You may support clients one-on-one or in groups, mostly in the community, and occasionally in their homes. Your responsibilities may include:Supporting clients in working towards their goalsFacilitating a wide range of recreation and social activitiesAssisting with shopping, appointments, and eventsEngaging clients in meaningful opportunities and relationshipsProviding daily living and personal care support, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.About YouWe''re looking for passionate individuals with a great attitude and eagerness to learn. You should have:Availability to work 2-4 days per weekExperience supporting clients with epilepsy and/or asthmaA positive approach, initiative, and self-motivationEffective communication skills and good English literacyThe ability to work collaboratively in a diverse teamThe willingness to support clients with personal care activitiesAn Australian Driver LicenceThe right to work in AustraliaThe ability to obtain a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you dont already have one.A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience, or an interest in community services would be beneficial.
