Via the bespoke platform, Lapp, LodgeX provides electronic lodgement and settlement services to conveyancers, lawyers, developers, and financial institutions, to provide an efficient alternative to processing property transactions directly via an ELNO.We are a fast-growing company, and we are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced property professional who is looking to change directions in their career or have more time at home and is passionate about driving growth and developing new business relationships.Role Overview:As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and developing strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in driving the companys revenue growth, overseeing client/s accounts, and identifying market trends to help shape our business strategy.Key Responsibilities:Identify and target potential clients to drive new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to meet or exceed targets.Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and maximize growth opportunities.Conduct market research to identify areas of improvement.Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and results.Organise and manage various events with internal teams (marketing), including conference sponsorship opportunities, webinars, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions, and professional training events.Ensure all event logistics are well-coordinated, from planning and promotion to post-event follow-up, measuring outcomes including identifying and recording leads and ROI.Attend State conferences and events.Qualifications:Strong understanding of the property industry and customer needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.Highly organized with excellent project management skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to analyze and interpret market trends.Full Microsoft suite including data analysis in Excel, as well as Word, PowerPoint etc.Working Hours: The role is expected to be 3 days per week.
