Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$160,000.00/yr - A$165,000.00/yrAbout the roleSouthern Cross Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader, in the new role of Regional Clinical Support Manager - Broken Hill, to provide assistance in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and compliance with accreditation standards across SCC''s Residential Aged Care Homes located in Broken Hill and Mildura.Working collaboratively with the Regional Operations Manager, in this role you will be providing day-to-day clinical operations leadership and support to the Residential Managers and Clinical Managers of each home, supporting them with advice, guidance and education to help drive better care outcomes for residents and uphold standards of excellence in care provision.Reporting to the Head of Residential Aged Care, your focus will remain on supporting our homes in Broken Hill and Mildura by providing:Clinical Oversight and SupportClinical guidance, advice and support to Residential Managers, Clinical Managers, Clinical Nurses and Registered Nurses in the delivery of clinical care and servicesConduct regular assessments of alignment of clinical practices with policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practicesIncident management support including additional investigation and review with a focus on learning and preventing future occurrencesMonitoring and analysis of clinical data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for staff education and developmentSupport to the clinical leads in each home in responding to findings of internal audits, identifying gaps, managing incidents and risk, conducting remedial work and implementing treatment plans leading to improved quality of care outcomesPartnership with Nurse Practitioners to ensure acute and complex care needs are monitored, managed and reportedSupport to the Quality Support Manager in the provision of data to meet the requirements of the National Aged Care Quality Indicators Program (QI Program).Staff Training and DevelopmentDelivery of education and training for clinical staff in response to clinical risk trends, gaps and improvement areas as identified in day-to-day monitoringFostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the clinical team.Collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols related to clinical care as well as facilitate communication and collaboration between clinical staff, Residential Managers, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of careBuilding key relationships with relevant internal departments and external stakeholders to support growing communities where best lives are lived through the application of the known and loved cultural pillarsRegulatory ComplianceEnsuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and accreditation standards governing aged care servicesWorking closely with the Governance team, regulatory bodies and external auditors to address any areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary.What will you bring to the role?Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)Demonstrated understanding of clinical management principles and practices with an emphasis on continuous improvementAbility to support, mentor and grow peopleExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and relate to all levels of management, employees, volunteers and customers on a regular basisDemonstrated knowledge of contemporary theory and practice within the Aged Care sector, including knowledge of current legislative requirements and Standards of the Aged Care IndustryHighly developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with all stakeholdersAbility to travel between SCC sites with overnight stays (including weekends) at short noticeHow can you apply?If you believe you are a Manager with the qualifications and experience needed to fill this role and are ready to make a difference and help us grow communities where best lives are lived, then we''d love to hear from you.
