You will develop, facilitate and evaluate a range of community events, and health and education programs designed to improve mental health literacy and community awareness of challenges faced by young people, in order to increase early identification and help them to get early access to appropriate services. You will work closely with our clinical team to understand the services that headspace provides, to advocate our services to both young people and the wider community.Requirements:Minimum of a Diploma qualification in youth work, mental health or other relevant disciplineExperience in a similar role working with young peopleExperience in planning, developing and delivering of high-quality education, training, and community awareness programs and activitiesDemonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with and engage a variety of different people and stakeholdersProven ability to work creatively, collaboratively and effectively as a member of a teamExcellent organisation and time management skillsConfidence in use of IT including social media applications (e.g. Facebook), as well as website maintenanceExcellent verbal communication and written skills, including the ability to identify potential funding sources and write the appropriate grant submissionsMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue CardMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent Drivers LicenseStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
