You will be a key senior hire and guiding light in our growing business, and youll find fulfillment in giving our clients peace of mind as well as exciting financial performance intel.What you''ll actually doOwn the client relationship - be the go-to financial expert clients call first when they need adviceDeliver our financial control services oversee the Slate methodology to ensure financial systems run smoothly, compliance obligations are met, and processes are continuously improvedProvide financial insight services - help clients grow through smart financial analysis, performance guidance, and actionable adviceLead a team - supervise accounting and bookkeeping staff on your accounts in both Australia and our Jaipur officeManage commercial outcomes - balance delivering exceptional value with maintaining Slate''s profitability targetsHelp build our practice - contribute to Slate''s thought leadership and growthWho we needMinimum 10 years in accounting roles with diverse Australian businessesExperience working in an accounting firm or as an external financial advisorProven track record managing client relationshipsStrong business acumen and communication skillsLeadership skills and experience supervising accounting/ bookkeeping teams local and foreignBAS agent registration (preferred)Certification in Xero, MYOB, or QBO (preferred)Why Slate Accounts?We''re not your typical accounting and bookkeeping firm.
