Processing more than 2.5 million vehicles annually.As we continue to grow in Australia, we are looking for a Yard Coordinator to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our yard facilities.About the RoleAs a Yard Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the flow of vehicles and assets within our site. This hands-on role involves forklift operation, overseeing asset check-in via a handheld device, photographing vehicles, car detailing, decal removal, and storage of assets while ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, transport providers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle check-in, appraising, photographing, and storage of assets, ensuring compliance with company standards.Operate loaders and forklifts to manage asset movement within the yard safely.Detail (thoroughly clean) vehicles to improve their appearance and enhance their value at auction; training provided.Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and store them in the appropriate locations at the branch.Verify documentation and address any discrepancies in asset records.Coordinate with transport providers for the timely delivery and removal of assets.Assist clients, assessors, and transporters with on-site queries, ensuring a positive experience.Maintain accurate operational records and report yard performance updates to management.During catastrophe periods, high volumes of assets come into the yard, and the ability to work under pressure while still providing quality service safely is essential.What Were Looking ForExperience: Minimum 2+ years in a similar operational role (automotive, auction, logistics, or salvage industries preferred).Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).Mechanically Minded An interest in automotive and mechanical repairs, experience in the equipment industry is desirable.Problem-Solving Ability Experience handling logistical challenges and safety compliance.Customer-Focused Approach Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.Safety Focused Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and vehicles operating in the work area.Physical Fitness Ability to perform yard-related tasks, including lifting and moving assets and working primarily outdoors in all weather types.Drivers Licence Required for site operations.Whats in it for You?Competitive base salary + all overtime paid at Double Time.Comprehensive health insurance for the whole family, including extras.Insurances such as Income Protection, TPD, and Life Insurance.International and stable working environment.Ability to opt into our ESPP (Employee Share Purchase Plan).Gym membership reimbursement.Working for a leading-edge technology company with a global presence.Join us and be a key player in our dynamic and growing team! #J-18808-Ljbffr
