As a Senior Solicitor you will be responsible for delivery of expert legal services and will contribute to the successful mitigation of risk and liability and ensure we achieve corporate compliance within legal frameworks.This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveDegree qualifications in Law and be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South WalesSignificant post admission experience in litigated matters and/or providing complex legal advice in a local government context.Other Important InformationThe commencing salary for this position is up to $107,705.60. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $124,786.66 on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation.We have a permanent full-time position available.This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role.This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.Extra BenefitsAt Central Coast Council we provide team members with a range of extras that help them balance their life when they need it.
