As we move into our 9th year of business, we are seeking a talented, enthusiastic multimedia and graphic designer to join our growing, results-driven web agency on a flexible, work from home, casual basis starting at 3 days with opportunities for increased hours for the right candidate.You will play a crucial role in creating style guides and translating high-level requirements into design mock-ups for our website projects, participating in onboarding and review/feedback meetings with clients to oversee the design of modern, easy-to-use websites designed around our clients'' goals.Your website designs will adhere to brand guidelines while incorporating intentional design elements to craft user journeys, demonstrating a solid understanding of UX/UI, accessibility and information architecture principles. Applied understanding of how users feel, think and behave while using our products is crucial to the success of this role.Additional responsibilities include designing and editing assets for projects such as branded icons, graphics, SVG masks and other visual elements.As we look to expand our service offerings, candidates with demonstrated capabilities in branding and logo design will be preferred. Experience with Elementor WordPress Page Builder is also desirable, but not essential.Key Responsibilities Include:Participate in and host onboarding meetings to establish a design briefCreate style guides either based on existing branding guides, or from discussion with the clientWork from a website content plan to design website mock-ups and concepts to present to the clientParticipate in and host review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to obtain feedback, craft results-oriented user journeys and refine designsCollaborate with our internal development team to handover feedback and review changes once completeGeneral graphic design tasks e.g. create branded icon sets, graphics, logos, brand guides, marketing material etc.Staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends and apply them to your work.Experience and QualificationsThere is no minimum prior experience period, however, you will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in working to UX/UI and accessibility design principles with a solid understanding of using information architecture to encourage users to achieve the website goals.Formal qualifications in visual design and graphic design are preferred, but not essential if your portfolio demonstrates strong design capability.You must be organised and professional with a keen eye for aesthetics, high attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised to a high standard.You will possess creative problem solving and diagnosis skills.Able to provide and receive constructive criticism.Good personal presentation and excellent written and verbal skills are a must.Able to quickly and accurately interpret design requirements and work briefs from onboarding meetings.Ability to follow instructions, manage projects within scope and deadlines and deliver results to a high standard.Proficiency with Adobe products, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and XD as well as experience with modern graphic design tools (Indesign, Figma, Canva).All applicants please apply via Seek, with a resume (including referees), cover letter and links to your relevant portfolio. #J-18808-Ljbffr
