Sales Enablement is focused on driving an efficient and accurate bid process through the sales lifecycle, driving increases in win rates and value for NEC Australia.We are now seeking a Senior Bid Lead to drive the success of our bid management team.The role will contribute at a high level to bid solution and proposal design customers and co-ordinate the contributions of Subject Matter Experts and other bid team members to the bid solution design process. Produce timely, high-quality bids which meet the objectives of the tender and are consistent with the strategy, win themes and corporate value statements. Ensure proper governance procedures are applied to the formulation and preparation of bid responses. Line management of other bid management team members.Primary AccountabilitiesContribute at a high level to bid solution and proposal design for NEC customers. Concepts, ideas, strategies and approachesCo-ordinate the contributions of Subject Matter Experts to the bid solution design process. Making sure that bids are received on time. Respond appropriately and all answers are brought together in the right fashionInteract with Sales team to ensure bid solution and bid response content is aligned with overall sales strategy for the opportunityLine management of bid management team members (Bid Leads and Bid Writers)Produce high quality bids which meet the objectives of the tender and are consistent with NEC strategy, win themes and corporate value statementsEnsure that proper governance processes (business risk assessment, pre order screening, pricing approval by appropriate financial delegates) are enacted as part of response preparationSkills and Experience7 - 10 years extensive experience in IT project managementProven highly developed management skillsProven highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in consulting and negotiation with a broad range of stakeholdersAt NEC, we offer an outstanding working environment and the opportunity to be part of a high performance team.
