Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe Senior Advisor - HSEQ Surface Mining Australia''s role is based out of the Perth Corporate office, however the role will require frequent ad hoc travel to Surface Mining sites.Reporting to the Superintendent HSEQ Surface and Civil, the Senior Advisor - HSEQ is responsible for supporting governance processes that span all Surface Mining Australia operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and report on whether Surface Mining operational auditing and reporting requirements (Quarterly Risk Reviews / HSEQ Monthly report / Conformance and Critical Risk Standard auditing) are being completed as required.Develop, mentor, guide and provide direction and support for the site operational HSEQ and Leadership teams to ensure they meet all required KPIs and align with the Surface Mining Business Units strategic plans and requirements.Assist in the management of site start-ups and ramp ups and where required with relevant site start up documentation (HSEQ Plans, Management Plans, Risk Registers, etc).Facilitate ICAM investigations and write ICAM reports, as required.Support, review and provide guidance to site HSEQ teams on ICAM investigations, as required.Complete all required lead indicator (HSEQ KPI''s) related activities, field leadership, when on site.RequirementsDiploma of WHS or higher.Demonstrated leadership skills and competency.Professional interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge and skills related to processes and methods of work.Lead Auditor qualification and associated HSEQ management systems training.
