Please refer to the attached Role Description for application instructions and mandatory requirements.Your opportunityFacilitate health system improvements through fundamental rethinking and redesign of core processes using proven project and implementation science methodologies.Lead innovation and redesign activities/workshops and support ongoing projects by transferring knowledge to staff at all levels of MHHS.Promote the systematic uptake of clinical research findings and other evidence-based practices into routine practice to improve the quality of healthcare at Mackay HHS.Support the promotion, understanding, and capability development in project and implementation science methodologies, engaging key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to generate complex systems change within Mackay HHS.About The TeamMIRI is an emerging health service-led translational research and innovation centre; a collaboration between Mackay Hospital and Health Service (HHS) and James Cook University (JCU)/Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM).About Our Hospital And Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service comprises 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres employing over 3,700 staff.
