Get jobsatisfaction in a lifestyle rolePart-Time position available(Mon, Tues, Wed - 3 days per week / 0.70 FTE, 10 - 12-hour shifts)Salary package of $57,435.07, plus superannuationPosition OverviewThe Dental Nurse will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of dental chairside duties, ensuring the dentist and patient are well supported in the delivery of oral health services. The Dental Nurse will also be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of sterilisation and reprocessing tasks associated with the clinic for which they are rostered and/or all Reusable Medical Devices (RMDs) used.The Dentist encourages positive attitudes towards oral health amongst the patient population and aims to contribute to ensuring the standard of patient care is maintained at the highest level by the Oral Health Team and which adheres to GEO policy and procedures and legislative and contractual requirements.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will possess a blend of educational qualifications and practical experience in governance, risk and compliance.Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalentMinimum one year of professional experience in dental workExcellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.Proven ability to meet deadlines as prescribed by management.Demonstrated knowledge of and high commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, GEO''s EEO / EOWA and Workplace Health and Safety principles.Previous experience in practice administration would be highly desirableThis role requires a commitment to fostering positive relationships with relevant staff and external stakeholders to support high quality services and professional practice.
