The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiac needs.Key Responsibilities:Set up, check, maintain, and troubleshoot life support and diagnostic equipment, including:Heart ultrasoundStress echoHolter monitorECG machineDefibrillatorAssist with preparing prescriptions and medications under medical practitioner supervision.Communicate effectively with patients, answering their questions about procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding with utmost respect.Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to patient privacy and regulatory standards.Conduct high-quality non-invasive cardiac investigations, including:12-lead ECGsAmbulatory Holter monitoringBlood pressure measurement (routine and orthostatic)ABI measurementsEvent monitoring testsTechnical Expertise:Independently perform, label and report high-quality echocardiograms.Analyse, and interpret ECG data, providing reports to physicians.Stay updated with advancements in cardiac testing, software, and monitoring techniques.Collaboration and Training:Assist patients with professionalism and empathy, especially those with disabilities or multiple comorbidities.Actively participate in team development and training sessions.Provide training and support to other clinics in Holter processes.Lead improvements in reporting processes and assist with staff training in new software systems.Qualifications and Experience:Degree/Diploma in Health or Applied Science (or currently enrolled in a relevant course).Minimum of 6 years of experience in high-volume cardiac clinics.At least 3 years exposure to echocardiogram interpretation and machine maintenance.Proficiency in electronic medical records, preferably GENTU technology.Certification in First Aid/CPR.Experience in exercise stress echocardiography as an assistant.Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and critical condition management.Preferred Skills:Skilled in IT systems, including website management and optimization.Administrative skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and fast typing.Familiar with electronic medical records and advanced healthcare software.Expertise in medical documentation, patient record management, and regulatory compliance.Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.Passion for patient care and team collaboration.Experience in training and educating staff.Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on patient care while working in a supportive and innovative environment.Application Process:If you are an experienced and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding role in cardiac health, we would love to hear from you.
